Lab Rat Logic uses a small publishing tool to make short videos and post them to our own YouTube channel and Facebook Page. This policy explains what information that tool, and this website, handle, and why.
- Only we sign in to this tool. There are no public accounts.
- It keeps the access it needs to post to our own Page and channel, and nothing about the people who watch our videos.
- We never sell information or use it for advertising.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers.
Who we are
The tool, this website and the videos they publish are run by Lab Rat Logic. You can reach us at neiellcare.paradiang@gmail.com.
This website
This website shows our public YouTube videos. It has no accounts or forms and stores nothing about visitors. Like any web server, ours briefly keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser and page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
Video thumbnails load from YouTube’s image servers (i.ytimg.com). A video player loads only when you press play, from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com); from then on YouTube’s ownprivacy policy applies to that player.
Information we receive from Facebook
When we connect our Facebook account through Facebook Login, the tool asks Meta for permission to list the Pages that account manages and to publish videos on them (pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement andpages_manage_posts). It then keeps:
- the name and ID of each Page the account can post to, and which Page was chosen;
- an access token for each of those Pages, so videos can be posted without signing in every time;
- the ID, link and status of each video the tool posted, so it knows what is already live.
The tool does not request or store your Facebook profile, friends, email address, messages, or any information about people who view, like, comment on or share our videos.
Information we receive from YouTube
To upload videos, the tool holds an OAuth token for our own YouTube channel (youtube.upload andyoutube.readonly). It reads the status of the videos it uploaded and their public totals (views, likes and comments counts), to show how they are doing. It does not read comments or any information about individual viewers. This website reads only public channel and video information through the YouTube Data API.
How we use this information
- To publish our videos as Facebook Reels, Facebook Page videos and YouTube videos, at the times we choose.
- To check whether an upload finished and show its link and totals in our private dashboard.
- To list our public videos on this website.
That is all. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or anything else.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or give this information to anyone. It is only sent to the platforms it came from, as needed to publish: Meta (Facebook) and Google (YouTube). Video scripts are written with Google’s Gemini models; they contain no personal information. Notifications about our own videos go to our private Telegram chat.
Storage, security and retention
- Everything is stored in our own database on a server we control. The dashboard is protected by a password and never displays access tokens.
- Page access tokens are kept until we disconnect Facebook in the dashboard, or the app is removed from the Facebook account. Disconnecting deletes them immediately.
- Records of posted videos (their IDs and links) are kept as long as we keep the video in our library.
Cookies
The dashboard sets one cookie to keep us signed in. Visiting this website, or watching our videos, does not set any cookie from us.
Your choices and data deletion
You can remove the app’s access at any time in your Facebook settings, and ask us to delete anything we hold. See thedata deletion instructions for the steps. Requests are answered within 30 days.
YouTube API Services
This tool and this website use YouTube API Services. Their use of YouTube is subject to theYouTube Terms of Service and theGoogle Privacy Policy. Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
Children
The tool is used only by us. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If what the tool or this website does with information changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
